About BEATS

Our approach

Clinicians at BEATS utilize modalities such as art, drama, music, movement, dance, and play to access healing pathways that talking alone can't always reach. We ground in relational and healing-centered approaches that blend traditional psychotherapy with embodied practices to support trauma recovery, emotional wellbeing, personal growth, and resilience.

BEATS combines clinical excellence with creative engagement to foster healing, connection, and resilience.

Mission

Our mission is to support emotional and psychological well-being through trauma-informed care, expressive arts, embodied presence, creativity, community support, education, and clinical integrity.

Vision

Our vision is to create a vibrant, inclusive space that offers not just therapy, but opportunities for personal growth, integration, and creative expression.

A note from Jordan Kaufman, founder of BEATS

Healing isn’t one-dimensional. It happens when we care for the mind, body, and spirit together. It happens when we find our way back to Self. Healing is not about "fixing"; it is about reclaiming. It is not a destination to arrive at, but a practice to engage in. Healing honors growth, grief, grace, and all of the spaces in-between.

Traditional therapy often focuses on words, but some feelings live beyond language. I have witnessed how art, drama, music, movement, dance, and play create pathways to healing that talking alone can’t always reach. I wanted to bring these elements together in an intentional, supportive community. A place where people feel seen, connected, and empowered.

BEATS is that vision. Every single clinician here cares deeply about the work we do.
